| Event Title: "A Mix of Classical/Jazz" Event Story: Join us for an evening of a blend of Jazz and Classical Music. Swingtime and special guest Melbourne Community Orchestra will combine their talents to give the audience a fantastic concert of jazz and classical jazz.
Swingtime, an ensemble of the Melbourne Municipal Band, also presents dances featuring jazz and Big Band standards. Swingtime's dances have long been a favorite of local dancers and jazz lovers looking for a reasonably priced, toe-tapping evening. This 20-piece bnad is directed by Art Martin, a tenor and baritone saxophonist. Art has performed with the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, Dizzy Gillespie, and The Platters to name just a few. | ||
