Large amphitheater with 3 acre performance lawn. Plenty of power for equipment. Lights on the stage, Park has restrooms and lights for the performance lawn West Melbourne Community Park and Amphitheater, formerly known as Max K. Rodes Park, is located at 3000 Minton Road (across from the West Melbourne Public Library). <> This 18 acre park offers recreation activities including softball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, playground, picnic, small and large bar-b-que facilities, restrooms, parking and a community hall. This community hall is available for party and meeting space rentals and offers just over 4800 square feet of air conditioned space for dancing, trade shows, private parties, craft instruction and fitness programs. There are multiple power outlets and a permanent stage for performers. The accompanying kitchen features deep sinks, ample food preparation areas, refrigeration facilities, a cooking range with oven, and a large pass-through bar. Reservations and tours of the facility are available by appointment, call the City's Recreation Department at 321-837-7779 to schedule. | |
