Event Story: ACOUSTIC monthly Bluegrass Gospel jam. Now in it's 5th year. The jam is held at Peace Lutheran Church 1801 Port Malabar Blvd. NE in Palm Bay, FL The next jam will be Sun. Sept.8, 2019. The time will be 3PM-5:30PM. We are located in the large meeting hall to the right of the sanctuary. All Bluegrass musicians invited ESPECIALLY advanced/intermediate players. Bring a banjo, fiddle, mandolin, autoharp, harmonica, dobro, guitar or bass. Upright bass preferred. Electric bass is OK with a SMALL amp. played at a soft level. NO band or percussion instruments allowed. Please play songs that ARE FAMILIAR to all. Original/self-written songs aren't permitted. This is a participating jam and not a performance jam or an open mic. We follow universal jam etiquette. We follow the guidelines of The National Bluegrass Gospel Jam Network. Printouts are available at the jam. We are a friendly group of folks who love Bluegrass and Gospel music and making people happy who come to listen and join in. Donations are welcome and all donations go to the church for providing a free space for the jams. Join us for a good time. Music is laughter to the soul!!
