MINIMUM WAKE is an acoustic duo that hails from the cypress swamps and ancient hammocks of East Florida, just off the tracks that take the FEC on its unending travels north and south. Creating music that drifts beneath moss-encrusted oaks. A sound that quivers with the rumble of rockets. Songs that settle one to sleep with strums of a road-weary guitar.
Songwriter/Guitarist Mike Runion, raised within 80's alternative, conjures the melodies from his acoustic and gives soothing voice to yarns of love, anger and rivers swollen.
Bassist A. Earl Edwards, of classic country renders phrases and counter melodies with blues and contemporary influences rounding the ensemble with deep foundation.

Brevard Live Magazine (June 2015) said: Minimum Wake has been churning out both original and tasty cover music in the heart of Cocoa Village. Mike Runion on vocals and guitar has Earl Edwards rooting him down on the bass guitar. Minimum Wake's polished sound soothes the soul with shades of eighties and nineties alternative floating along on a bed of bass and countermelody influenced by classic country.
